About This Event
On the first and third Saturday of every month, from 10:00am to 11:30am dive into fascinating history, vibrant horticulture, and more during a leisurely walking tour at Airlie Gardens. Discover how original owners, Pembroke and Sarah Jones, first fashioned Airlie as a private space, as well the intriguing Minnie Evans, Airlie's gatekeeper and resident artist from 1949 to 1974. Knowledgeable guides also share highlights of gorgeous flowers and plants thriving in this Southern oasis like azaleas, camellias and Spanish moss. Approximately one mile of outdoor walking with frequent stops. Walk will be canceled in inclement weather.
