Pender's Cafe

Discover this hidden midcentury throwback gem, looking much like did the same day the Pender family opened it in 1977 in historic downtown. Enter the door to see the counter with stools facing the grill on the right and welcoming booths lining the left hand side of the Cafe. Be sure to say hello to the owner Maxine Pender. The traditional short-order cafe food is served in their Coca-Cola red room with breakfast choices served all day. You can still get the same homey classics like the original Orange-Ade drinks, yummy ice cream floats, burgers, thick cut fried bologna, served with a smile and a side of crispy crinkle fries or thick cut onion rings.
