Northern Regional Park at Castle Hayne

Recently transformed from Castle Hayne Park into Northern Regional Park, this NHC Park features two picnic shelters with electricity each seating 45 people, restrooms, multi-age playground and a nationally recognized 18-hole, 6,913 feet long disc golf course. The disc golf course was designed by Harold Duvall and is registered with the Professional Disc Golf Course Association (PDGA). Athletic facilities include six lighted pickleball courts, a baseball practice field without lights, four lighted multi-purpose fields and a new 1.7 mile paved walking trail. The park also features a brand new pump-track, one of the only ones on the Carolina coast, where cyclist and skateboarders can build momentum and make their way around the smoothly paved track to test their skills.
