Wilmington Riverwalk

Voted third Best Riverwalk in the Nation by USA Today in 2025. Stroll along nearly two-miles of scenic walkway alongside the historic Cape Fear River. Stretching from Nunn Street to the Isabella Holmes Bridge, lined with an assortment of markets, unique boutiques and art galleries, the Riverwalk is home to quaint shops, outdoor cafes and narrated tours. The marina at the north end accommodates larger vessels, with an outdoor concert venue as well as two restaurants featuring spectacular river and sunset views. Two hotels boasting seasonal rooftop views and year round restaurants are also available. Open year round, the Riverwalk features over 200 closeby shops, restaurants and attractions with a virtual tour available. Conlon Pier is a popular spot for catching views of the river, and is the only spot along the Riverwalk where fishing is allowed. Self-Service public docking is available along the Riverwalk.
