North Carolina Maritime Museum

On the grounds of the remains of Fort Johnson, The NC Maritime Museum at Southport tells the story of the Cape Fear region's people and their relationship to the water... a tale of tides, wind and ocean. The renovated museum features exhibits on shipwrecks, pirates, the Civil War, the seafood industry and ship models. Join them for special events and living history programs.
