Poplar Grove Plantation

A pocketful of peanuts saved one of America's oldest plantations! This 1800s historical site offers an 1850 home, tenant house, active blacksmith shop, basket weaving and studios, a barn with rescued farm animals, exhibits, gift shop, picnic and playground area and charming group of shops. Join them for special events like a seasonal farmers market, Paranormal Tours, Blacksmithing Lessons and a Winter Wonderland of twinkling lights. Enjoy beverages at their new year round coffee house as well as the tranquility at the close by Abbey Nature Preserve. Regular House Tours will resume after construction is complete.
